I have been chronicling family travels since my dad put a camera in my hands when I was ten years old. I was thrilled when my Kodak Brownie was upgraded to an Instamatic!

My hobby became more serious in college while taking extended backpacking trips. I wanted to memorialize my travels along the Wonderland Trail circumnavigating Mt. Rainier and in the Olympic National Park. This whetted my interest and I took community classes with a staff photographer for the Seattle Times. The canisters of film in my refrigerator were evidence of my growing interest in story telling through pictures.

My first photo love is capturing wildlife and landscape images. When not traveling or exploring the outdoors I am happy to provide portrait and event photography services in the Puget Sound area.
